Deep Diving Certificate

$300.00

The Deep Diving Scuba Specialty focuses on the knowledge and skills required to safely plan and conduct dives beyond Open Water Certified depth limits, typically between 60 and 130 feet (18–40 meters). Divers learn about the physiological and psychological effects of increased depth, including nitrogen narcosis, gas density, and increased air consumption, as well as how depth impacts buoyancy and task loading.

The course emphasizes proper dive planning, gas management, use of redundant equipment, and safe ascent procedures. Divers practice controlled descents and ascents, problem-solving at depth, and emergency response techniques.

Upon completion, divers gain the confidence, awareness, and skills needed to conduct deeper dives responsibly while managing increased risks and maintaining a strong focus on safety and dive discipline.
